Here is a new band that the iTunes Genius recommended, They are called Rogue Wave with the album called Asleep at Heaven's Gate. When I listen to some of their songs I get a feel of Michael Stipe from REM vocally and Death Cab For Cutie. The sound is still kept abstract in some with roots in the indie playground. Some good hooks, even if a song doesn't sound good at first give it a chance. I do not have a favorite but all songs ring out a special way.
